In 1996, the Family Court Master Plan was developed to present a framework for the restoration of this historic and architecturally significant juvenile justice facility.  Alta Management provided project management and supervision services for Phase I of the project, valued at $3.3 million and completed in 1999.  The Family Court building is a historically certified structure constructed in French and English style in the 1930's.  Scope of work on the project included building systems, technology infrastructure, structural renovations, and architectural finishes.  Coordination between the construction team and the builders was critical because the construction work had to be done while maintaining court operations in the building.
