Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility- 8201 State Road Philadelphia, PA

The mission of the Philadelphia Prison System is to provide a secure correctional environment that adequately detains accused or convicted persons and provides them with services and supervision in a safe, lawful, clean and humane environment.  To better serve this mission, the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF) was completed and received its first inmates in the last quarter of 1995.  The 2016 bed facility, built at a cost of $130 million, also includes administrative offices, a primary intake facility, and food service for the entire prison system.  Majid Alsayegh, principal with Alta Management, provided overall program management for the CFCF, as well as coordination with Federal U.S. District Court on issues related to funding and compliance with the Federal Court orders and Consent Decree related to prison overcrowding.  Majid Alsayegh, James K.
